Same-sex marriage (also known as gay marriage) is the marriage of two people of the same sex or gender, entered into in a civil or religious ceremony. There are records of same-sex marriage dating back to the first century. The introduction of same-sex marriage (also called marriage equality) has varied by jurisdiction, and came about through legislative change to marriage law, court rulings based on constitutional guarantees of equality, recognition that it is allowed by existing marriage law. The recognition of same-sex marriage is considered to be a human right and a civil right as well as a political, social, and religious issue (Wikipedia). Same sex marriage is legal nowadays for some countries they have same sex marriage where two individuals with the same sex can be married as one and by that it means living together and living life with God in the center of all and as a couple or married as a couple they will live life like a man and a woman but just a man and a man or a woman and a woman they can take care of each other, love each other be with each other for the rest of their life. The Family Code of the Philippines defines marriage as “a special contract of permanent union between a man and a woman”. The Constitution of the Philippines does not prohibit same-sex marriage. In Mark 10:6-9 New International Version (NIV) 6 “But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ 7 ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, 8 and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” this is one of the reasons why God made a man and a woman. I Agree with this for I do not like same sex marriage because what is the use of the other gender if you only marry the same sex as yours and why did God make two gender the male and the female, for them to be with each other cause males are for females and females are for males.
